About Me

Welcome! You found yourself here because you clicked on something that struck a chord, and for that I am grateful.

Let me tell you a bit about myself. For the past 13 lucky years I have been happily married to a wonderful man who has taught me the value of having a sense of humour. We have 2 wonderful daughters and live in a suburb of Ottawa, Canada with our chow chow, Buddha. 




Since graduating in 1999, I worked in marketing communications and advertising, and had much success, however, over the years I began to wonder if there was more out there, and increasingly felt empty with what I was doing. Sound familiar?

There were a few dark years where I struggled with a work lifestyle that I grew to hate. It became toxic, affecting every aspect of me. It took a toll on my family life, and deeply affected my outlook on life; I no longer was proud of my work ethic or attitude. It was time to take a step back. In doing so, I realized over the course of months of self-reflection that I was the only one who could change the direction of my life. So I took the leap to change it. With the support of my husband, I quit my full time job and started The Rogue Pea Marketing. 

What a breath of fresh air that was! Never in my life have I felt better. Everyday I wake up happy to be with my family, happy to be working for myself. The freedom I feel everyday is amazing - I liken it to what I imagine winning the lottery would be like. 

Now I am focussed on helping others who have also taken this plunge deliver the absolute BEST that they can to their customers. I am a believer in building your own happiness, using your passions to focus your business efforts, and building relationships with your customers to sustain it over the long haul.

This is what I call VALUE MARKETING, and it is what I teach entrepreneurs - that value marketing is the core of building a business that was born out of passion.
